I have been in Phoenix since Thursday. Rentals in the good areas in our price range we wanted to stay in ($1300 or less) seem to be going very fast. I found a couple with pools in which the pool was great, but the home and neighborhood wad not. Those happen to be in Avondale. I am not saying that all of Avondale is bad, but the homes were obvious rentals with worn carpet and so-so neighborhoods.

The areas we liked best were Goodyear, there was just not much available except one home we are keeping as a back up. Litchfield Park is nice, homes are hit and miss. The home we really like is in Surprise in Marley Park. What a pretty neighborhood. The homes actually have color and character and the grass is so green. Seems like a great family friendly area.

We did not. I will be working in Peoria so that may have been too far? I hear it is even nicer than Marley Park though?
