I have to go 1800 miles just to get a good deal on Alberta oil...

86 cents a liter in Phoenix...up here where it comes from we pay 1.08
oh well we have to pay for all that "free" health care some how

This is primarily due to taxes. Arizona has one of the lowest excise tax rates in the US.

Tucson is almost always lower-they were at 3.19 in July at the Shell on Irvington.

$1.08? Must be a gas war. Here in Sask we pay $1.22 per litre. 4.54 ltres in a gallon = $5.54/gallon. Phoenix = $3.93/gallon. Drive baby drive!

Actually 3.78 litres in a US gallon, but still a smoking deal compared to Canadian prices.

It's currently $1.29 a litre for regular in the Okanagan or $ 4.88 a US gallon.
