The monthly home sales stats are out. Taking in the entire region - Both median and average sales prices are UP from last month and almost back to late 2010 levels...but sales numbers have dropped from last month. But looking at historical numbers sales in September have always dropped from August and they are higher from last year.

HOWEVER, in my Pinal neighborhoods not as good. Median prices are DOWN from last month as well as sales also down. Inventory increased from last month.

Possibly the reason the regionwide numbers look better on the median is that the higher end homes are coming down in price....hence the median is skewed. But who knows.

Basically it all looks like we are just continuing to bounce along the bottom as we have been for over a year now....
