There was sheets of rain and even hail here in north Mesa. We sat out on the back porch and watched it for a good half hour or so. The temps are amazing. 68. Ahhhh.

Wow, I've seen some wind in my day but nothing like today. Yard and neighborhood are trashed and completely blew over one of my Elm trees in the front yard. At one point the house was creaking so bad I thought I might lose the second story.

Pool is like mud and I hope the filters can actually clean it without plugging up.

Yea, some damage out in Gilbert, microbursts I guess. What is stranger to me is that it's suppose to be 106 in a couple of days. Up, down, up, down. Funny may weather.

VERY strange weather for this time of year, with this storm and the one a couple of weeks ago that also came into the Valley from the north side, and was pretty severe out in north Scottsdale (lightning strike at WestWorld in the middle of a horse show-- dramatic, but no damage).

Yesterday's thunderstorm was monsoony-acting but not officially a monsoon, still about two months away for the real thing.

It's kind of like July, except 20 degrees cooler.
