TeePee Tap Room, right next to stadium. Has been there for 20+ years.

The Indian School one is there, yes, but there is another location just south of Chase Field at 7th St and (I think) Lincoln. SMG was posting at the same time I was...

Interesting that if you follow the link in SMG's post to the teepee website, it mentions only the Indian School location.

I've been to TeePee. The location near Arcadia? The food was a joke.

If this list represents the best mexican in phoenix, i can easily stop lamenting what we lost when we moved to Raleigh!

The ONLY of these I would voluntarily return to is Barrio Cafe, but I suspect it's not the Mexican food the OP expects. And Espo's, but it's a far cry from it's glory days.

And yes, I've eaten in ALL of these places.

Espo's (if you meant the one in Chandler) is gone.

I don't go out often these days, but except when convenience requires it or others insist, for Mexican food I'd rather eat at the smaller places like Barrio Café, Salazar Bros, Carolinas and similar places. I haven't eaten at the Indian School Tee Pee in decades, and don't think I've missed anything. I've eaten at the other one before baseball or basketball games, and it's just ok.

Went to the Chinese Cultural Center yesterday to pick up some oriental goodies at the Super L Ranch Market. On the way home we stopped at Comedor Guadalajara and it was fantastic.

Great food and margaritas and we were the only gringos in the place. Highly recommended.
