I agree. Chandler falls in the same category as Queen Creek. Too far from Sun City in the NW valley.

Currently my inlaws are in the older Sun City area, but we also visit to Sun City West area. The other family is located in the affluent Phoenix area. I'm looking for a home in the 180-225K range, were just middle class midwest.

Which affluent Phoenix area? There are quite a few. And, how often do you want to visit them? Knowing this will help with other area suggestions.

Thanks for your Help - Thinking of 2250-3000 Sft. - up to 225K for price... Would a pool equipped home be a plus due to the heat - We are thinking we would enjoy that option...

When I did a map search for Morten, three areas came up: 1 location between Peoria and Glendale, one near I-17, and one near "51" and the Phoenix Mountains Park. Even with all of these, I still say the same recommended cities/areas for you to consider in your search.

Regarding that website I posted, you can click on a subdivision and it will show you the homes available for sale or rent. This should help you know the type of home that fits your price range for each neighborhood. I recommend renting first to help you get more familiar with where you want to live. There are quite a few nice homes for rent all around the Phoenix area.
