I haven't been able to locate fresh horseradish root since moving to Phoenix. I have several recipes that don't taste "right" when preserved horseradish is used. Anyone know where I can get some?

Have you checked Sprout's, Wholefoods or one of the International Food Superstores in Mesa?

I know, I know, I am in Alaska. Never been to Phoenix. Got to this board in a round-about way...that said, maybe this will help. I saw several places that might have it.

I buy mine at Fry's Marketplace. You'll probably have to go to one of the newer Fry's. Call ahead and check to make sure.
