I just happened to be walking through downtown last night and saw what seemed to be millions of people of all ages dressed up in REALLY BAD-A$$ costumes! I mean it was cool, this show made haloween look like chopped liver!

I asked a couple people what the heck it was all about and I found out it's all part of the phx Comicon...

I went to their website, and it appears what I witnessed was their "Zombie Walk". I wish I would have had my kids with me, they would have LOVED that!

So does anybody know: Now that the "Zombie Walk" is over, is there going to be anything like that today or tomorrow (Sat or Sun)?

I know next to nothing about this comicon, but if anybody has any info about more cool free spectacles like that on the street, please share! I really want my kids to see that or something like it...

Looks like it's $35 to get in today and $20 to get in tomorrow (online prices). Two kids go free with an adult I think.

I'd love to have a look myself, but knew nothing of this event. I might go tomorrow.

I created an account but couldn't navigate to find where to purchase tickets at all. Their instructions didn't work for me

Comicon is ALWAYS fun. We took our kids down and participated in the Zombie Walk a few years ago. Go. Have fun. It is truly a Geek paradise.

Youve noticed that strange trend, too? Yesterday I had some tweeker walking around Central and Jefferson, at 4PM (almost 90 degrees out), wearing a hooded sweatshirt, with a KC Chiefs winter coat over that. Unbelievable.
