It's amazing.
Before the bat chit hit the fan I wouldn't dare venture near westbound I-10 after 1p unless I lost a bet.

Today after 1p was glorious.

N. Scottsdale, Tempe, Westside, N. Phx loop and back to Scts in record time. It was like a Sunday morning.

And unless I'm imagining things... drivers seem to be more courteous and kind but that may simply be because most of the geriatrics are in their bunkers right now.

These days the worst you'll see during rush hour is a "tap of the brake lights" (like Detour Dan says) on most of the valley freeways. A little slowing at the beginnings of construction zones, and a little slowing at some freeway-to-freeway interchanges.

Traffic is moderate. It is obvious that people in the area are ignoring the stay at home. Anything that is still open is mobbed with crowds of people trying to do something with all the time off. It's more like a Saturday morning than a lockdown.

So no more parking lot on I-10 west bound between 6:30 and 8:30am then?
