We've been living in the N Prescott area for 3 years, and are thinking about moving down to Wickenburg (or similar). We want milder winters, and don't mind hotter summers (but not like Phx).

We've visited Wickenburg and liked the town a lot, it seems to fit our lifestyle. Our activities include: horses, shooting, Jeeping, hiking....

So any thoughts from the group on Wickenburg? Or other towns that sit around that 2000 ft altitude? (hence milder summers and perfect winters :-)

Thanks all....!

Woody, I'd take Wickenburg over Prescott any day. To me it's much more accessible and friendly.

I have no idea where/what that is? We're going down next week to wander about and get the lay of the land....

We definitely want more than 1 acre, hopefully up to 5 acres....

Oh it is a large housing subdivision there. That is where most people going to wickenbrg are going. But in your case would not be for you lol
