Hello,

I'm from the Wisconsin area and will be relocating to Gilbert, Arizona in October. I fell in love with the apartment complexes and the beautiful homes. I know it gets hot, but I'm ready for that for I am tired of the snow, ice and cold weather.

My question for everyone is how would you rate the job market? Is it easy to find a job and keep one? I'm currently do city/governmental work - do you have any suggestions?

Thanks

My friend works for city of Gilbert in the planning department. I hope that's not where you are heading towards as all city planning departments in the valley are experience huge cut backs. We've had a major building slowdown, so departments that need permit funding to exist are having a hard time of it. Best of luck!

Yeah, hopefully you aren't looking for a development, civil engineering, or planning job...
