Well, let me tell you...
I CAN'T GO FISHING.

The lakes are closed (actually the ramps) and I can't renew my yearly Tonto Pass because the TNF offices are closed.
I guess I need to hop on the motorcycle and take a ride since I can't go fishing.........

OOOOHHHH THE HUMANITY!!!!!!

Interesting that 100's of thousands of government employees aren't getting payed yet congress and the POTUS are.
It's interesting that everyone is required to pay for health care through the government yet congress and the POTUS don't have to participate because they have "special" health care provided by you and I.
I bet the insurance companies and their lobbyest love this and are laughing all the way to the bank.

They can all work for free. Maybe the real change will finally happen.

It hasn't affected me at all. Makes me think we don't need a lot of these employees...

Doesn't affect me either! I hope they drag this out beyond the Oct. 17 doom day and the government really does default. That would be one of the many great accomplishments from Obama's tenure, the default of the U.S. government! It's time

It is going to hurt Phoenix if it goes on because of complications in home lending. That is a big part of our economy. Hundreds of workers have been laid off at Luke AFB. They are our neighbors, family and friends. AZ will lose $1 million per day according to reports due to loss of tourist dollars. These losses will hurt places near the Grand Canyon - little towns that depend on the tourist trade to feed their families. Hundreds of kids will not get food. Dozens more will not be able to enter clinical trials for cancer treatment. It is a shame you can't fish, but try to think beyond your own self interests. Many, including people we know and love, are going to be hurt by this.

Again doesn't affect me. Whoop dee-doo, people here need to think about things other than profiteering off of real estate.

I don't understand people that cheer on these doomsday scenarios.

Well it did affect my husbands plans to see the Grand Canyon with his friends from out of town and their kids. But, there is always the West side of the canyon, ran by the tribe.
