...within 20 minutes of Scottsdale.

I know Chandler has some as well as Phoenix. Are there any good ones closer to Scottsdale? For Chinese, I already love Flo's.

Thanks.

Thai Pan, just east of Scottsdale and Pinnacle Peak, is excellent.

The Wild Thaiger (http://www.wildthaiger.com/ - broken link) might be a bit too far from Scottsdale but the food is excellent and the price is very reasonable.

Takeda Thai is another excellent Thai restaurant in Scottsdale. Nice decoration but a bit too pricey in our opinions.

Lee Lee's in Tempe I think has a great, economical restaurant, Vietnamese right next door. We always walk the store after eating, those poor catfish....

i'm honestly surprised the thaiger is still in business since thai basil opened up the street ....... at my old office there was a max exodus

if you are in the neighborhood give it a try

i had my boss from back east out and we did a team lunch at a mexican food place and then the next day I did lunch with him at thai basil ...... he yelled at me for waiting an extra day to take him there, guy cleared his plate with ridiculous speed

good call on the #41 (had to look it up) ...... i would often get the #44, #32 or #27

There's Sala Thai on 32nd Street north of Shea Blvd. I tried that once and it was very good. They will even adhere to your request to go light on the spice. It's rather small and cramped, but they seem to have a thriving business. Good food and good service!

There is a really good Thai place called Swaddee near the 101 and Via Linda. I love there curries and great service. New Times has named it best Thai restaurant a few years back.
