I'm heading up to Glendale (from Tucson) on Wednesday night for the Bon Jovi concert at Jobing.com. I'm looking for a nice-ish restaurant to go to before the concert. Any suggestions?

haus murphy is great food - not sure I want a belly full of it before a concert though

what do you consider nice-ish and where in area do you want to eat? - there is a flemings close to the stadium, la piazza al forno is over by haus murphy and there are a ton of other options (for example pending where you are coming from you could hit the arrowhead grill off the 101 & union hills and then drive 10 minutes down to the stadium)

Agree on the Pizza place. There's also a Patsy Grimaldi's on Northern. If you are into chains with decent food and a BIG beer selection, check out Yardhouse.

Nice game last night, eh Mikey?

You'll also be in an area with a lot of restaurants/bars. My Big Fat Greek Restaurant is around there, too. You'll see it if you take the ... I wanna say Glendale exit (whatever street Cabela's is on). I wouldn't really call it "nice-ish" but it's "nice-enough".

I'll be trying to wash away the sting of the UA game with this.

I actually was recommended a place not in Glendale, but not far off I-10 on my way to Glendale: Tuck Shop. Sounds like really good food and a really cool atmosphere. I think that might be the one to go with.

"Abuelo's, high end Mexican and not too far from Jobing"

I'm not a big fan of this place.

But La Piazza al Forno is great! La Piazza al Forno

Also, while not "great", BJ's is very close to where you'll be and is good. BJ's Restaurants
