I live in Ca. and visit Az. often. The speed cameras annoy the **** out of me. They are an illegal tax. I have not received any citations yet. But im sure i have been close. Regardless, i do not plan to pay it if i do get burned. As for all you people who think the tax scameras are a good thing. Go ahead and pay your fines. You can subsidize all the people who throw theirs in the trash.

why is the speed limit so fast to start with? 65 - 75 is very very fast. Don't you think we all should drive at a safer speed, like maybe 30mph? We certainly will not have any safety issues then! Heck, think of all the money we could save, no highway patrol, no camera's, no postage.......

I think the state should inspect our cars and install speed limiters at 30mph max. What could they fine us for then to make $$.

Since you enjoy playing the victim card, could you please explain, in detail, how dave357 made you a victim by his actions. And I mean, YOU... specifically. Example: indicate how you were on the road when he was driving and any near death experiences you had due to his driving, etc.

If you had no direct contact with this person while he was doing what he was doing, than you're not a victim of anything related to this person.

Note: Playing the victim card is really outdated. If you continue to play the victim card, when you become a REAL victim, no one will care. Might I direct you to the story of "the boy who cried 'wolf' ".

The only "victims" are the people who actually pay these scamera tickets.

You did the crime, pay the fine. We need the money!!!

All the cameras have signs notifying drivers of their existance.

Speed limit is 65, that means the maximum speed a car can travel is 65 mph - not 77 mph.

I wish I'd known the Arizona camera law was so toothless or I would have given them the finger as I drove through last year.

But seriously....what a crapshoot. Thank God fixed speed cameras are banned in Oregon and photo radar isn't used on the freeways. Just look out for the blue and whites and you're fine.

I don't mind the Cams so much but 30 mph??????

I hope you're kidding about 30 being the max Speed; if not then you really need to stay off the Freeways - for your sake and everyone else's!!!!!!!
