SO I want to move to Phoenix next year for Grad school from Dallas, What are some things I should know about the city? Job market for writers/journalists/editors?? Has anyone gotten a degree in either (MFA) creative writing, English, or Journalism from ASU? p.s I already know it's Hot, don't tell me that please..I've been there plenty of times :-)

Hmmm, Phoenix is a nice place to live (and cheap as well) but not known as a good place for people who want to pursue creative careers like writers,artists-etc. job quality in Phoenix tends to be poor (due to a lack of skilled/well-educated people) unless you want to work in the real estate, medical or education fields. I would probably go to a place better known for you line of work where there will be a lot more opportunities.
