Does anyone know if there are any areas in northern Phx, Scottsdale, or outlying areas where you can put up a modular home on reasonably priced land? Thanks

Buckeye, rural areas in north Surprise and I believe some out in Wickenburg or Waddel. A good realtor can probably save you a lot of time.

Depending on what you consider reasonably priced.

You might want consider Desert Hills/New River. Nice area close to I-17. This is a very popular area close to the Tonto National Forest. Country living (bring your toys) with city conveniences.

I have even seen some great pricing on lots in Rio Verde Foothills (North Scottsdale).

A little further out you can look at Wittman and Morristown.

All of these areas allow manufactured homes. Lots will typically be 1 acre.

Generally the farther out you get out from the city the easier and cheaper it will be to have a trailer or find a trailer park.

Default Modular

Thanks for the replies. About how much $$ are you talking about when you say reasonable in north Scottsdale?

Default Modular House

I am not talking about a trailer or a park. A modular home is built at the factory in various modules and assembled on site. Mortgage and insurance companies consider modular the same as a standard home. They do not treat trailers or manufactured homes in the same way.
