Just make sure you are always aware of your surroundings & where your feet are.
A since removed video of a wedding photog showed him taking a backward plunge into a fountain while shooting the couple leaving the alter. He & all 3 cameras went under water, albeit briefly, I'm guessing he trashed no less than 10k worth of equipment.

Wait for the D700 replacement, the unit is over two years old and it is surely to be refreshed soon.
B&H is now out of stock of D700 bodies, and the unit has been on rebate status for the last few months.

beach and adorama have them.... so far no announcement of anything new..... i may wait a month or so as i still have to sell mine....
if you look on the internet almost a year ago they were rumoured to be discontinued and the d700x or d800 out momentairly
