HappyGal: One looks like a bottom of a dish...I still can't figure out how these two images are tied together? Where are the clues?

Yes and no , same thing in different colors . One Pink, the other blue

Are they smaller than a toaster oven?

Have anything to do with the Holidays?

Is that pen like object made of metal...is it a needle? (the thing on top of the blue thing) sheesh, I'm confusing myself now!

Smaller than a toaster oven, much smaller.
Nothing to do with the holidays, just an everyday common object.
It is usually "put up" on something electrical/electronic, though not necessarily.
