For Chinese, try Sesame Inn, original on Washington Rd in Mt.Lebanon, also in Station Square , North Hills, and McMurray. Not a big fan of Mexican, although my wife is. We like Cucina Mendoza in the Lebanon Shoppes. NOT a Mad Mex fan.

Compared to? The Southwest? Well, yeah. However, if one looks around, they can find that there is some good Mexican here.

I believe they bill themselves as "Cal-Mex."

I lived out west. I really really miss green chili and waking up to a good mexican burrito to take to work.

Is a burrito from Chipotle even almost as good? I find them more than acceptable, chain though they are.

Azul in Leetsdale is the best Mexican I've found in this area, though I would hardly consider myself an expert on the subject...

Not even close, though they are the best fast-food-chain burrito purveyors by far.
