Yeah, the other Rust Belt cities would be snickering behind their backs.

I kind of like Yinztopia, though.

I like "arse." I fully intended to say arse. If I wanted to say a$$, I'd say a$$. I didn't. Plus, it's an homage to the British Mr. Pitt.

I don't think Pittsburgh necessarily needs a name change. It just needs to shed it's downtrodden, dumpy, backwards rust belt image and seperate itself from the rest of the midwest by building on the green movement and this "rust belt chic" thing where it can leverage it's major assets (lots of cheap, stately, grand old architecture in very urban neighborhoods) into trendy modern and cool live/work spaces.

If the city keeps showing up on these positive ranking lists and continues being mentioned with other cities like Portland, Seattle, San Fran.. It could end up filling a unique niche of being sort of like an east coast version of these more trendy west coast cities. Then being near the large east coast population and immigration centers could cause a bleed off effect thanks to cost of living differences.

This all takes time and obviously stuff like this doesn't happen overnight, but I can see that this sort of trend has already begun happening.
