We are new to PGH and are looking to buy a bedroom set (twin bed, dresser, etc) for our preschooler. Looking for something he can use through high school. I'm unwilling to pay Pottery Barn prices, but Target or WalMart quality won't suffice. Any tips of where to look locally? We live in Aspinwall. THX!!

Go to Babyland at Penn and Negley in East Liberty.

I'm 55 and the kids furniture my parents bought there when I was a kid is still in good order.

There's also USA Baby on Babcock Blvd in Ross. I don't really know how that compares to anything, but some coworkers seem to find it useful.

spam is spot on, thats the best place i have found for baby and kids furniture. there aren't tons of options.

after looking at about everyone out east of pittsburgh someone recommended babyland (and next door they have kids room or something like that) and we were really happy we found them.
