My son cleared close to $2000 when he worked at his last job in Pittsburgh. We still had to give him some financial help as unexpected things would come up. This wasn't enough to truly live well on and get ahead.

Default Relocating to PIttsburg Need advice

Hello everyone
I am considering relocating to Pittisburg in about a month with a great Job offer. However I just need to know is it a safe place for my teenagers to live. I am from a big city and can adjust to any place. I just want a place that is affordable and safe to walk to a store and public transportation when I need to take a bus instead of driving everywhere. Thanks everyone

Mnt. Lebanon, Squirrel hill, the south hills, and more. There are a lot of neighborhoods you could pick. Research it online for a few hours, then go visit the neighborhoods that sound nice to you before moving. This always helps. I would type Pittsburgh neighborhoods online and you will get webpages that define them. You will have people on this site that will tell you cranberry, monroeville, plum, but those are very suburban with no public transportation and not walkable at all.
