I caught the sunset recently and the clouds looked very beautiful but I was in a valley and could not see it set on the horizon. I though that would be a nice date for my wife and I go to watch it somewhere. But I'm wondering where one of the best places are.

Since this will be a date the surrounding area should be desirable to. Where as maybe the best place to photograph it might not be in a very romantic setting.

Thanks.

I'm partial to Schenley Oval in Schenley Park. It's way high up and overlooks downtown Pittsburgh in the distance and the sun sets behind the skyline. Really beautiful. Lots of people go up there just to take pictures. You can take your date to nearby Squirrel Hill afterwards for a nice dinner.

Erie does have some nice ones. I grew up there. But I'm looking for something a little more close to home.

This is probably my favorite spot, too, at the top of the frisbee golf course.
