I am not the most PC person by any stretch of the imagination, but his message of hate and bigotry sickens me.
Any presidential candidate who runs on the platform of "divide and conquer" automatically loses my vote. How on Earth does Donald Trump think he's going to bully Mexico into building a border wall for billions of dollars? How will our allies view this bullying? How do his supporters not see the consequences of our allies not wanting to help us in the future if they perceive us to be bullies? How on Earth do so many people think "banning Muslims" is going to solve any of our nation's problems? We have numerous homegrown CAUCASIAN CHRISTIAN terrorists every time we have a mass shooting. We have numerous homegrown AFRICAN-AMERICAN CHRISTIAN terrorists gunning each other down daily in Chicago. Scapegoating "the Muslims"; "the Mexicans"; "the gays"; etc. just gives people a crutch for their hatred and bigotry because they can say "if that's what the president thinks, then so should I".

I fear a Trump presidency will feel like living in Berlin in 1940.

I don't think it will surprise anyone to know I'm voting for Bernie. He's not as far left as I am, but overall is probably the best candidate I've seen in my voting life. Unless Hillary gets indicted, he isn't going to win now, but he's already changed the dynamic of the campaign and the Democratic party dramatically.

I don't like Hillary, but with a Supreme Court seat in the balance, I have no issues with voting for her in the general election whatsoever. I don't expect to like her presidency - I expect it to have most of the worst traits of Obama's, plus a little more bombing of foreign countries - but it's better than the alternatives.

The Republican Party appears to be in the process of falling apart right now. It's a fascinating to watch - like a slow motion car crash - but also horrifying. I wish it was happening in some other country so I could just find it tremendously amusing.

I have very little interest in politics and typically refrain from voting because I just don't see any candidate as better or worse than another. They are all about the same to me.

However.

This year there is a candidate that I genuinely don't want to see given that kind of power. So if that person winds up actually in the running when it comes to the final decision. I will be sure to vote for whoever is running against them. Not because I like that person but because for once there is indeed a lesser of two weevils to chose....

Edit to add. I didn't vote in the pol above because I honestly don't know what I will do when the day comes. It will depend on who is actually on the ballot.

It did and was/is happening in other countries: France & Greece to name 2. We appear to exist in an "interesting time".

The Republican Party is imploding because party elders are rigid in their steadfast belief in keeping the party right-of-center socially instead of at least centrist/moderate socially at a time when their older Evangelical base is dying off and being replaced by young Republicans who are socially moderate, even those who attend church regularly.

Governor Kasich of Ohio is the only presidential candidate on the GOP side who doesn't seem to be harboring any animus about same-sex marriage, for example. He believes the U.S. Supreme Court's decisions should be final, as they've traditionally been, and he respects their decision, even if his personal religious convictions are incongruent. Meanwhile his fellow contenders have said they'll examine ways to have the U.S. Supreme Court overhauled---potentially even making the seats up for election every eight years---because they're still angry about the decision and want to waste time with such trivial matters in order to distract voters from the real problems facing our country.

I'm friends with many young Millennial Republicans. NONE are opposed to same-sex marriage and weren't before the ruling. If this is indeed the future of the GOP, then they need to stop pandering to an aging and progressively diminishing proportion of their party that are bigoted and instead embrace social evolution to remain a viable party. Right now I just view the party overall as being one that seeks to advance its mission through the suppression of minorities, and I can't align myself with those goals.

He's an egotistical *******. I honestly am shocked he won Massachusetts. I'm not shocked he won in the south though.

Hillary Clinton is plain evil. She is the most two faced candidate to ever run for president. Her average donation to her campaign fund is nearly $50,000. Bernie is $27. And she's here to fight for the working class? Yeah right. At least Donald trump doesn't hide that he's an ****

Don't be fooled. She's just as much for what Donald trump promtoes... just better at hiding it.

The parties may well be in the middle of a period of realignment.

As far as choosing which party to vote for, its a matter of choosing. When I chose 20 years ago to buy a Roadmaster instead of an Escort, I put a higher priority on ride, power and style than I did on economy and parkability.

Millennials, like everyone else, has to decide what is more important to them- their positions on economic/foreign policy issues or their positions on the social issues. They get a chance to vote for the whole package, and they have to accept that they might be going for other things they disagree with.

Old people vote, religious people vote, and so do those in outlying rural districts, the Republicans would need to be convinced that they can get more votes from young city millennials by telling those old, rural Christians to hit the road than the number of voters they will lose. That's the calculus there, and the GOP is unimpressed. Considering their success in the 2014 cycle, I am not sure they are willing to change now.

It's not the "party elders" driving the GOP right now, look what happened to Boehner and what direction the challenges are coming from. Pay attention. The establishment elders are reacting out of fear.

A year ago, I had no issue with Hillary Clinton. However, the more I see of her and hear her in interviews and at campaign rallies the more I really do not want to see her in the White House. If this isn't over by the time the PA primary rolls around I will proudly vote for Sanders. I may not think everything he wants to do is possible but his character, attitude, class, and honest about what he wants to do is something that's badly needed again. If it would be Hillary in November, I would probably still vote for her because she certainly isn't worse than Cruz, Rubio, and god forbid Trump. Plus, there's no way I'm staying home in November because I'd like to see our Senate seat up go back to being blue.

Who are they going to vote for then if the GOP moderates socially? Certainly not any Democrats...
