1 or 2 BR Apartment- two parking spaces? (Bellevue / West View) (Pittsburgh: apartments, for rent)

Hi everyone,

It looks like I will be offered a job shortly in the Pittsburgh area. Unfortunately, I will have to drive a company vehicle for this position, so I'll need a place to park it along with my personal vehicle. I'm looking for a 1 BR apartment in the Bellevue or West View area where I would have the option of renting an additional parking space. Budget would be $550-650 per month (not including parking). I could also rent a 2 BR apartment if those are more likely to include two parking spaces, and in that case I could afford up to $800/month, although I'd prefer not to go that route if I can avoid it. The only other amenities I care about besides parking are A/C and on-site laundry. Dishwasher would be nice but not a requirement. Don't care about schools. If nothing is available in Bellevue or West View, then I would say Green Tree, Crafton, or Carnegie would be my second choice, but I'd prefer not to fight the tunnel or West End traffic. I would be looking to move sometime in May.

I lived at 250 Laurel Ave in Bellevue back in the late 80's/early 90's for 5 years, and thought it was convenient to drive as it was just a couple blocks from Ohio River Blvd. They have a parking lot with 1 space for each apartment, but if all of the current tenants don't have rides, they might be able to handle it. Even if you can't , it was easy street parking as well. on Euclid or Laurel. Current price is $650.

Look on Craigslist Pittsburgh. Type in Bellevue (or other locality) and parking as search terms. There are lots of them.

Might be able to find a 2br home for $800 with off street parking...a 1br apartment is unlikely to come with two dedicated spaces.
