The Penguins took a 3-2 lead into the third period and lost 3-4. How retarded?! Whatever needs to be done to win games in order to win the series is exactly what needs to be done. Penguins who were on the ice for Washington's goals should earn extra mandatory practice.

Tom Wilson and T. J. Oshie need to be banned from the National Hockey League.

We really can't complain. We had too many injuries this playoff season and just because some are back, doesn't mean they are 100%. They aren't. The Caps are just too physical and the refs don't care about tripping and whatever else is going on. It isn't going to happen for us this year. No complaints though. Two is two. Three is super elite, but it ain't going to happen.
You must be a Capitals fan. Keep dreaming about winning a Stanley Cup.

Tom Wilson is scheduled to have a hearing with the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety for intentionally injuring Zach Aston-Reese. I hope Wilson gets suspended for the remainder of the playoffs and games during the 2018-2019 pre-season and regular season.

One game suspension for Wilson.

It could be said Aston-Reese turned his head in a vulnerable position, but there is no way Wilson lands in his own bench without his skates leaving the ice. He launched himself at ZAR in a dangerous manner.

Wilson's a thug. Doesn't even have the redeeming skill of someone like Brad Marchand, who is an excellent hockey player underneath the dirtiness.

Is that your opinion or did the league release a statement?

Nope, I read wrong information, apparently.

Let's win out so Wilson will be done for the year.

This would be nice as I feel that was a complete head shot to end someone's career. The NHL needs to create hockey, not thuggery. Reward hockey players and get rid of the garbage playing just to take people out. We have had ours like Tom Sestito, who part of me wants them to bring up, but I would enjoy hockey much more for the sport, not the garbage. As humans get softer and softer, the NHL needs to adjust to those soft skulls and such. Let it be hockey that wins. Washington isn't a great hockey team, they have a bunch of thugs playing that hit hard. I would prefer hockey be a better sport and grow.

I hate having goons wanting to injure players intentionally instead of play hockey. If the National Hockey League cannot solve the goons for their actions, the teams in the league have to step up. Tom Sestito took care of business with the Winnipeg Jets during the 2016-2017 season as Dustin Byfuglien's antics became toxic.

Tom Wilson's suspension should be a message to the Washington Capitals, specifically Matt Niskanen, Brooks Orpik, and T. J. Oshie. If you play like a goon and injure players, you will be suspended.
