Say it isn’t so, and Duquesne doesn’t even want any money from it.

Another key player ops out.

Had high hopes for the Capel project.

Looks like it’s going to be a long 5 more years of Capel unless Pitt buys him out.

Even Penn St basketball is in better shape, and that’s not saying much.

Pitt fans have to come to terms with the fact that the run they went on from 2000-2013 or so will never happen again. Look back on it the same way the football team was from 76-82.

PSU seems to trigger a lot of Pitt fans more. But either way, whatever.

Point is - do you not agree with what I said there? That was a very unique run for Pitt that is going to be incredibly difficult to replicate.

It’s been done before. Took about 2 minutes for someone to jump in...and he’s not wrong about Pitt basketball. Personally, I thought Capel was going to be great for the program, but it looks like that’s not going to be the case.

Just fell below .500. Doesn’t appear as though Capel is helping his cause. Recruits will certainly be wondering what’s going on also.

If there is one thing that Pitt does better then anyone, it taking an elite sports program and turning it into mediocrity at best.

At least they only have 2 significant programs to do it to...and Pitt football hasn’t been elite since the 80’s.
