Emphasizing non baseball activities to draw a crowd? Reminiscing about the 80s Pirates. I can read between the lines. A bold, if largely illegal plan, though might work.

This is my favorite Bucs moment that I've witnessed. Which it is a pretty damming statement no matter how awesome that was. Other contenders...hmmm, the combined Cordova/Rincon no hitter ending in a walk off HR I guess. Its slim pickings.

Pirates 25 games under .500, Cruz batting average at the Mendoza line of .200, on base percentage is terrible, play in the field is lousy, but he throws hard, so the PR department says to come see this young phenom play in person.

What is really sad is Dale Berra could make this team and I felt he was the worst Pirate baseball player that ever was allowed on the field.

Berra wasn’t even close to being the worst Pirate player that was ever allowed on the field.

This is a short list of some of the Pirates worst players and there’s so many more that were worse than Berra.

That list is only from 92 on. Get with it. Berra as real fans know played way back in the '80s. He batter barley over .230. He was on the field because of daddy and to get people interested. Ah, why am I bothering here? You will argue without any ammo forever. Enjoy.

You obviously didn’t comprehend as usual. I said it’s a short list and there’s so many more that were worse than Berra.

Dale Berra lol. Haven't heard his name in awhile. He was heavily involved in the mid 1980s cocaine scandal as well. He had a nice moustache. Otherwise...
