Are AHN or UPMC participating in the mutilation of children for the Trans movement? I bet they are.

UPMC profits down 75% so far in 2022, filing shows

https://triblive.com/news/health-now...-filing-shows/

"Health care giant UPMC reported Tuesday that it had nearly $200 million in profits during the first nine months of this year — about a quarter of what it reported during the same span a year ago.

UPMC said in its third-quarter financial report that labor and supply markets related to the pandemic resulted in increased costs.

UPMC reported a profit of $196 million during the first three quarters of this year, down from $800 million during the first three quarters of 2021.

Edward Karlovich, UPMC’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, blamed the drop largely on increased labor costs because of employee shortages."

Gotta keep the revenue stream going. Interesting as Sleepy Joe declared the plandemic over…but he does want vaccine passports while keeping the border open for untested and unvaxxed illegals that are exempt from the shot, lol

The U.S. is 'certainly' still in a Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Fauci says

Not sure what this post has to do with "Pittsburgh Medical Update," other than Erie's need (similar to a dog on a walk) to lift his leg and spread some of his p.i.s.s on every (tree) thread. Well, what's my role then? I guess to say this:

Pittsburgh Regional employees sue over covid-19 vaccine mandate

https://triblive.com/local/pittsburg...ccine-mandate/

"A group of Pittsburgh Regional Transit employees and former employees filed a discrimination lawsuit in federal court Tuesday challenging the authority’s covid-19 vaccine mandate.

The lawsuit, filed as a class action, seeks to represent not only employees who were terminated by PRT for failing to get vaccinated but also employees who claim they were forced to get vaccinated to keep their jobs.

The lawsuit includes claims for religious discrimination, violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act and wrongful termination.

It alleges that 75 employees were terminated for failing to be vaccinated and that their requests for religious or medical exemptions were summarily denied."

Yeah but the mandate sure made the clowns running the government look serious didn't it? Clowns with frowns.

Vaccine Requirements

https://www.cmu.edu/coronavirus/heal.../vaccines.html

"Consistent with scientific evidence on the importance of vaccine adoption to control spread of the virus, to the extent permissible by law, Carnegie Mellon University requires all students, faculty and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster dose when eligible) and to upload confirmation of booster vaccination status and date of vaccination to the CMU Vaccine Database in HealthConnect."

Proof of Vaccination and Booster

https://www.coronavirus.pitt.edu/cov...on-and-booster

"The University of Pittsburgh requires every student, faculty and staff member to comply with certain mitigation measures unless they provide proof that they have been vaccinated. People are considered fully vaccinated:

After their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccines, or
After a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine
We know that 96% of our students, faculty and staff across all campuses are vaccinated and that many people in our community have sought out booster shots. If you have received a booster shot, please update your record and upload an additional photo of your vaccination card."

96% percent coverage for Pitt students seems pretty darn good. Clearly, if we would have had closer to 80% acceptance of the vaccines, and (maybe) no social media, this would have been less of an issue. I did hear yesterday that the defense funding bill that Congress was trying to pass last night will include a provision discontinuing the Covid vaccine mandate for the US military within 30 days, although it would not reinstate the estimated 8,000 servicemen and women who have been discharged due to the mandate. According to the US military, 99% of the force has at least 1 Covid shot. Of course, the Pentagon says that this provision will affect "force readiness" but Republicans are pushing for it again -- interestingly pushing one of their "pet" issues, at the cost of our national defense -- similar to what some on the Right are poised to do on Ukraine funding.

https://www.winchesterthurston.org/lifeatwt/coronavirus

"Based on this guidance, all eligible individuals (students and employees) must have received their primary series of the COVID-19 vaccination in order to be on campus."

NO doubt a bit odd that Winchester Thurston (always uttered with a mock "upper class" accent) can mandate the vaccine for students, but (thanks to the Repubs) not the US military?
