A team of blue- and golden-clad ambassadors will soon hit Downtown Pittsburgh

“The Golden Triangle Ambassadors will provide more eyes and ears in the area, and help to address concerns about crime. They are “definitely not law enforcement,” Waldrup said, but they can communicate with police when necessary, and will eventually share a building with them Downtown.”

Good news. I'll be complaining to them on a daily basis when I encounter the public displays of our beloved homeless druggies. Whether or not anything will be done about it is another matter.

They should certainly receive great attention on a daily basis so they can report back to Big Ed, and no doubt criminals will embrace them knowing they’re eyes and ears for the police.

Hopefully they offer you thoughts and prayers at least. That’s the most somebody can do when they don’t have the fortitude to something more.

You represent that by being unable to make it on your own while blaming others for it…but in this case, this is what Big Ed hired these folks for. To interact with folks and hear what they have to say and then report back to their powers that be, while also helping the police. They have the fortitude to get and take the job so as to support themselves.

Man. It makes you miss the old Chez Kimberly/Jack's Sportshaven downtown. How did things go downhill from those days?

Blaming the police and inanimate objects(guns), enabling and defending criminals, voting for soft on crime political figures, spinning the criminals through the revolving doors of justice, low standards by trying to ignore and deflect the skyrocketing shootings and murders, etc… In other words, folks reaping what they sow and the area experiencing the consequences.

Me to. I wonder where they will be at 2:30 everyday. I am guessing far from the wood street station.
