Does anyone know whether there are public buses or transportation that run from Fox Chapel to downtown? I know that in the south there is the "T" and in the City of Pittsburgh there are public buses.

Thanks! Do you happen to know which bus? Does it run throughout Aspinwall and O'hara?

Just a tip on the Port Authority website: if look under Schedules->Hand Schedules, you can search for all the routes going through a particular neighborhood (e.g., Fox Chapel).

Look at the

1A New Ken - is the fastest local to and from dowtown it uses Rt28 - Bus runs on a Slow schedule though

91A Butler St - is a slow moving local that runs pretty frequent, its uses Butler Street and Penn Ave

93A Express - is a Rush Hour Express that pretty fast, uses the East Busway and Washington Blvd

500 Highland Park - The Longest to get downtown and only certain ones run to Aspinwall the same ones that are servicing Waterworks.

Avoid the 94B - This is only going to East Liberty, it will however drop you off at the EBA in East Liberty for quick service to downtown.
