^ You read my mind before I got here. You can get a 1/3 acre lot or better in Oakmont. The school isn't as bad as the scores indicate or what people who don't live here say. You probably can't find as much as Oakmont has to offer anywhere else. I disagree about Hoffstot's and feel it's been overrated for many years.

Thanks for the heads up on Oakmont. Oakmont falls into Riverview schools correct? How are they?

Bethel Park and Dormont (most my family lives there). Dormont is a "smaller" town and Bethel seems a bit bigger, but both are smaller and less hectic than downtown. Dormont is a 10-15 min drive from downtown and Bethel Park is about 20-30. Both are family oriented places. Do not know much about the schools as my brothers go to private school.

Is there a special reason why they dont attend the public schools? I thought they were solid schools? No?
