Hello All! Nannyval here, your friendly Pittsburgh dino hunter. I've been lazy in my search due to starting a new full time job last January and haven't found any new dinos since last fall. We were gonna go find one today that I had a lead on but unfortunately I've lost the lead info. There was a post on my Facebook group about a dino located at a high school....possibly called "Allegheny High School" or "Allegheny Valley High school".....I can't remember! Either way, this person left the group and her comments went with her so if she's out there (Jen P.) and hears this message, please, send me that lead again! Or if anyone else knows of this location, please, let me know. In the meantime, a fresh post will push this topic up to the top and maybe we'll get some new leads from some fresh faces. Thanks in advance who has anything to offer! Have a great weekend everyone!

Torosaurus Lepidopteron definitely lives at Oakbridge Academy in Lower Burrell.

Hi Val,
You had the name of the school- T. rex VP is located at the Allegheny Valley School, Ewings Mill Road in Coraopolis. The dinosaur is outside one of the buildings, left hand side, pretty much at the top of the hill/end of driveway for the school.
My son and I just restarted our dinosaur search today after many months away. I'll let you know what we find.
Jen P.

I am a Geocacher [mod]link removed, please read the tos[/mod] with four kids who is from Pittsburgh and now lives in SE Ohio. I would like to find as many of the dinosaur statues as possible (my kids love dinos & it would make a great family weekend vacation). I'm really lousy at forums, but if anyone can offer me a list I would be deeply grateful.

I can be contacted at dwaters118@gmail.com

Thanks!!

Nannyval!

The "name unknown" spotted at Gene VanHorn (no e) Funeral Home on Old Haymaker Road, is known as "FOUR-SEASON-O-SAURUS" and is living a very private life in the Pennsylvania countryside.

God Bless You.

Thank you so much Yinzer for this info. This is the one that got our whole search started! May I ask how you know this? Are you the owner or a friend of the owner? Are you willing to share the location? If not, I would be soooo appreciative if you could post an updated photo of the dino(with no surrounding details in order to protect it's privacy) on my Facebook group's page. The group is called,"In Search of Pittsburgh Dinosaurs" and the members would love to see a picture and receive confirmation of yet another dino "found"!
