I don't know if there is a union at her school. I do know that florida is a right to work state so it probably doesn't matter.

Look at how this woman's rights are basically invaded. imaging if it was a public school in a conservative area. the same thing can easily happen.

Read the whole article before you conservatives rant about how unions are all that is soulless and wrong.

Interesting, but what do unions have to do with this? If there was no morality clause signed by the teacher then the school will be at fault because we have laws against firing people for reasons such as this.

It is a private so-called "Christian" school in a small southern town. Of course those religious nutcases are going to be upset about fornication. Especially inner racial fornication.

Sorry..private Christian school with religious beliefs that they want to practice and pass to the kids they teach. They have every right to fire the teacher no matter what YOUR beliefs.

No sex before marriage is now dubbed "religious nutcases" ???

She ought to get a real teaching job at a real school anyway. Why would any real teacher want to teach kids things like:

Obama is the Anti Christ
The World was blinked into existence 6000 years ago
The World is flat
Hate anybody of any other religion. They are all going to Hell.

She ought to be glad they fired her. Being fired from a religious nutcase employer would be a plus on any resume!

Did you miss the part where it said it was a private CHRISTIAN school? And here I thought no way a public school teacher got fired for premarital sex! What a non-story this is.

I bet 90% of the people at the school had sex before marriage. Probably a good number of them have sex outside marriage or at least masturbate while thinking about sex with somebody other than their spouses.
