I don't see that there's any info in that diagram about the limo that any serious and knowledgeable person couldn't figure out on their own given the public information that's already available concerning automobile security and armoring.

One thing I didn't see on the diagram is the weight.

An aside that is of no value...in the 1980s during Reagan's term, a friend of mine was a C-5 pilot. At the time the C-5 was the largest cargo plane in the world. Reagan took a round-the-world diplomatic trip and my friend got to fly his limo (one of them...the flew several and flew them all on different planes departing at different times from different AF bases) from Travis AFB to the Philippines. Yup, the world's largest cargo plane flying one car and the 2 secret service agents that accompanied it.

What impressed me was my friend told me his cargo, including the agents, weighed 17,000 pounds. I've wondered if the limos weigh more or less today. I'd guess less due to advances in the field of armoring.

Now if I were Obama I would offer you the following deal; I'll drive in a fuel efficient car equal to yours, if you will ride in the same car as a decoy in the Presidential motorcade.

Unfortunately it has a GM engine in it. What good is an armored car if you can't rely on it to get you anywhere? lol

I'd reply very quickly.. DEAL.. considering I'd be driving in something much safer than he would be... btw, I'm not complaining about the gas usage his car uses, nor the need for protection, so he shouldnt be complaining about mine..

How does that dispute the response to the original poster? Which again was...

The fact that the limo was open, doesnt minimize the fact that the man attacking the prez was very serious in getting his target..
