Actually it is NOT even 12%. It is more like about 3 to 4%. Blacks may be 12% of the population but most violent crimes are done by black males between 14 and 40 years old. That is probably about 3.5% of the total population.
The black male is very oppressed right now no matter where he lives. He often lacks an education, rarely finishes high school and unless he can play ball or sing he will not have much of a chance of a decent living in the neo capitalist economy. Gone are the days when the oppressed black man had job options like a factory, the meat packing plants or the military. Those jobs are either gone or require a high school diploma now.
Sounds like its the fault of the black man and no one else to me, because the black man has failed to adjust to a changing world. If a kid with no shoes in China or India can get an education, a black man in London has no excuse. It reminds me of time in Africa, the black women would spend all day working in the field or market, and the men would spend all day drinking home made alcohol in the bar watching soccer.
The United Kingdom actually had the option of letting blacks immigrate to their country. They should have known better. There are plenty of examples through out the world showing that wherever blacks go, crime and other forms of anti social behavior follow. I highly doubt the situation is going to improve.
While most British Caribbean islands are relatively crime free, Bermuda has an increasing crime problem. It's so bad that they are "importing" police from the mainland UK and the other British overseas territories. I believe the island has the highest proportion of police officers to residents in the world.
The Bermuda Police Service has gone from 95 officers in 1960 to about 500 today. For a population of only about 65,000.
The goal is to help others be productive law-abiding citizens. Pointing fingers and throwing a tantrum isn't helpful.

British Nationality Act 1948 was put forward by the Joos. Wait until the Joos invite Africa to join the EU.
Remember restrictions on internal immigration within the EU are illegal thanks to the Lisbon Treaty so Whitey in Europe shall be wiped out once Miliband, our Polish Red Army friend has his way.
Why are people even giving this thread respectful input. It may have been a valid question if the op was truly looking for answers and input, however when someone has a pattern of posting racist comments and making idiotic statements, I believe the agenda id one of mainly attempting to create conflict and strife and to spread silly backward thinking drivel that the "wn" attempt to push off as fact.

easier access to handouts (food stamps, subsidized housing, etc), greater ease in building gangs and defending ones dilapidated neighborhood and turf.
furthermore, most blacks seem to expect the government to provide everything to them which can be done easier in urban areas.
They want nothing to do with Whites except when it comes to our technology, advancements, etc. What's weird is many Blacks don't realize the tribal societies they would be living if it wasn't for the white people they hate.
how would South Africa look if it didn't have a history of White immigration and leadership?
Was there a wheel, written language, etc before Whites arrived? Both the Xhosa and the Zulu were still living tribal societies and in the case of the Zulu very brutal.

Apparently there is a great deal of racial discrimination against blacks in the UK. Black people are a very noble, talented, proud, dignified people. You deny these people jobs because of their skin color not their competence level. Unfairly judge their performance while lesser performing employees of other races are given greater consideration. Penalize them because they don't act, talk, and think as you do. Disregard their educational achievements, fearing that their achievement diminishes your own sense of self-worth. You fail to recognize and treat them as equals not realizing that this behavior makes you inferior. You put them down at every turn by demonstrating through every form of media that people who do not look like them are the norm and preferred. You force them into corners with few options, all of which insult their sense of dignity. No wonder problems persist, problems that exist not just within the black race. The society is severely broken.
A far greater level of resolve has always been demanded of blacks than has ever been demanded of whites. The UK far, far from ideal in this regard. Quite a shame, but not a surprise.

Many of the English Blacks came from nations like Jamaica that were under the Crown at one time. The same way Puerto Ricans can come to the USA. They are considered to be citizens of the Crown.
