I can just hear NPR and a Noam Chomsky monologue playing on the interviewer's stereo in his Prius.
So what was he suppose to do, interview every single one at the rally?

So what were you expecting them to say? I always hear, well they got the most dim-witted of the right wingers. What would the response to his questions be from the "smart" conservatives? This should be interesting...

The interviewer in the video does not make any mention of class or education, yet a few posters assume the people at the rally are poor and blue collar. Interesting how one even assumes that they are "white poverty" because they are ignorant. Freudian slip? Elitism? Goes to show you that the right has contempt for poor working class whites and views them as simple folks who are uneducated.

If you listen to Glenn Beck it is YOUR OPINION that we are stupid?

I bet if they would have known how you were going to turn out, they would have let you work your b#tt off instead of them.
Poor mom and dad.
Actually, you are stereotyping as much as you accuse the other poster of doing. The reason I know most people in this country are 'stupid' is because I take the time to talk to them. Never attended college, so you can't blame my understanding of humanity on any professors. I've known college graduates who can't find their @sses with a flashlight. I've known uneducated people with more wisdom in their little fingers than I see from some here who claim to be highly educated. I hear Glenn Beck and wonder why anyone could listen to the fool.

re the video, the questions asked and the manner in which the interviews were conducted and the repeated videos of the same attendees were all designed to present the rally attendees as ignorant. it is not our perceptions here on CDF that are flawed. no need to correct or reinterpret.
the people that i saw on the video tape were a class of americans that i know well.referring to white poverty and lack of education is not a wild accusation.
these are people i know and love. the attempts of the interviewer to distort the benefits of anchor babies was obvious. he played on their lack of legal knowledge on the subject. in the future i would suggest b4 you launch an attack on a poster you at least 1st read their profile. btw- as usual- when i get attacks like this -it is accompanied with a blank profile.

It's like Jay Leno's Jaywalking, where he only uses the "useful idiots" for his segments, he never shows the smart ones who get the correct answers.

The mainstream media has perfected this tactic: In any large crowd like this one there's bound to be a few screws and nuts so focus in on only those while ignoring the majority of normal people who might have a more intelligent (i.e., boring) comment to make.

Frankly I'm surprised people still fall for this age-old media manipulation. I thought the CNN/PBS crowd was smarter than that?

Howard Stern was awesome. And someone is saying the people on the right were ignorant?

I certainly didn't see anyone that was violent or racist at the rally. No one was saying we need to kill anyones babies. It's actually immaterial if someone views these people as uninformed because they represent a large percentage of the population and will most definatly be voting. I was also surprised to see so many young people in the background. Guess it isn't just angry, old, white men. No wonder the left is terrified.

FOX News does the same thing when they put morons like Ann Coulter on TV. They achieve the same goal as putting these morons on Youtube because she'a an embarssament to the Right as well! They're doing it all by themselves!
