...but Michelle is not your doctor, and she is not informing people about high sodium levels so they can make informed choices, she is trying to change the menus at restaurants to affect our choices for us.

Were you unaware that too much salt was bad for you? I'm sure you already knew that. But the busybodies like Michelle think you are too ignorant or stupid to have known this.

Michelle and her ilk are going to take care of you, and make it so you can only eat what they think you should be eating, because you cannot be trusted on your own. Since she and they cannot personally control you or infringe on your freedom of choice, they will cut out the middleman and control what choices are available to you.

She may as well be going on a campaign that running with scissors is a national health issue, and trying to ban all the sharp objects from the store shelves, so you can't hurt yourself.

That would be 0bamaCare.

Student Loan Industry - Student loan industry's 'takeover' by federal government is overdue - Baltimore Sun

0bama is taking them over, come hell or high water. The point is that these people want to remove as many choices from us as possible, with them believing they have a political mandate to force upon us what is best for us in the end.

You can argue that some of these mandates and laws have not yet gone into effect, but I'm telling you to wake up and oppose these notions before your silence is viewed by these politicians as tacit approval and they become the law of the land.

I never dreamed they would ban the incandescent bulb, but wave goodbye to it.
...and yet here we are, 13 years later, incandescent bulbs are being taken off the shelves, and now they want to ban the cars we drive. Crazy isn't it, how in the land of the free, we will need to go to Mexico or Canada to purchase a perfectly safe product that we used to sell in the USA.
