Obama's legacy: Mourning in America

Now. Mz Parker WAS a fan of obama's...but not anymore apparently.

Quote:
Now, Americans feel uncertain and are deeply concerned about the direction of the country. . . . This president truly looks at America differently than Reagan did. Reagan saw America as a shining beacon to the old world. Obama explicitly rejects American exceptionalism. . . . America in 2010 is suffering from a failed leader and failed economic policies."

They took a Ronald Reagan campaign commercial and turned it on its head.

It's not possible to get any more generalized that that. What is this, the 50's? I'm mildly surprised they didn't show a married couple, man and woman, with three children (older son, middle girl, young baby) standing in front of a picket fence. The music is worse than Muzak. You are slipping, s.

However, I couldn't agree with this more:

"Nevertheless, it is probably fair to say that Obama's ideas were too big for America's appetite."

America has never revered education, fiscal responsibility or reality. We'd still like to think we're the best, the brightest and the hardest workers. This ad is classic Madison Avenue (or so it used to be called) generalized propaganda. What's so incisive or special about it? Because someone wrote an OP ED in the Washington Post? Didn't realize you were such a fan of that paper!

Got any proof any of this is true? Or does that matter?

It's a good ad. Now we have mourning instead of morning.

Obama is setting a record-setting number of records during his first year in office.

Largest budget ever. Largest deficit ever. Largest number of broken promises ever. Most self-serving speeches ever. Largest number of agenda-setting failures ever. Fastest dive in popularity ever.

“My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody … I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.” – President Barack Obama, 2008.

"Life's tough......it's even tougher if you're stupid." -- John Wayne

"We live in the greatest nation in the history of the world.
I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it." -- Barack Obama

Why?

Unfortunately, we are now beginning to understand what the second one means and what the first says about us.

America's not ready for the big plans of obama, huh? What, like running the debt and deficit up to record levels? Like appointing far left, radical homosexuals to "teach" our children? Like the reality that obama has governed nothing like the candidate who ran for president?

Fiscal responsibility? You mean like passing a HC law (his "victory") that will cost multiple trillions of dollars?

It may have been his final wish, since he knew he wouldn't be around to vote in 2012.
