CNN Poll: Obama at all time low – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

Quote:
The president's approval rating now stands at 42 percent – an all time low in CNN polling and 8 points lower than where Obama was only three weeks ago.
Among adults, people. Adults would be the most favorable toward obama. 42% approval, 54% disapproval.

But this right here is the take away;

Quote:
In even worse news for congressional Democrats, likely voters say they are considerably more likely to vote for a candidate the president opposes than one he supports. On the other hand, 50 percent of voters said they would be more likely to vote for a Tea Party-backed candidate while a third of Americans said Tea Party support would dissuade their vote for a candidate.
God willing, that sentiment will hold for the next 6 weeks.

We gave the Dems the key to the country, and they failed miserably.

The people will be heard in 40 days.

I actually cannot believe he is at 42%, thought it would be much lower.

It will because nothing is going to change.

He has two more years. I am sure he will go much lower in that time span. Funny thing about failed economic policies- even idealogues become angry when they are unemployed. Suddenly gay marriage and carbon taxes are meaningless.

In my profound yet limited intelligence,

pleez let it be known:

I think if the economy should realize a sudden miracle, the Barry syndrome will prevail and we will be faced with 4 more years of someone leading our country that will go down in history as.....

WORST PRESIDENT EVER

Scary.

I think OBAMA is doing great ... considering the unprecedented monumental presidential disaster he inherited from his predecessor .... Bush!!!

RCP has him at 45%.

RealClearPolitics - RealClearPolitics Poll Averages

Back in 2008, people said it would take years to clean up the mess left by Bush, and history has proven this to be true.

I can't wait to vote for OBAMA again in 2012 !!!

4MORE4 44 !!!

So what

Presidents often have bad approval ratings .... it goes with the job.

GWB actually managed to get as low as 22% and was usually well below 50% for most of his 2nd term.

Bush: Job Ratings

In fact, Obama is doing quite well in comparison
