I was being sarcastic about the racist part.

But it really did surprise me that cities like Columbus and Augusta, Georgia (I have lived in both) or even Charlotte and all the Texan metropolises were well ahead of other cities when it comes to integration. The lines were quite literally blurred, while in cities like Baltimore, Philly, Detroit, Los Angeles, and Chicago you can put the different races into neat little boxes.

In the research I did, the higher the % of blacks in an area, the higher the crime rate.

Maybe they figured everybody already knows that by now.

I bet you felt so good typing that, didn't you?

Since those were vastly outnumbered by the dots representing the black panthers and other thuggish black gangsta groups it was decided, in the interest of being PC, to omit them.

I kind of thought you might be using sarcasm there.

Well I happen to live in Columbus, and with Fort Benning we have quite a mixed population. And, in middle class and upper neighborhoods the diversity is very evident. Not so much in lower class areas.

I love it when people say how racist and divided the South is. NOT!

Here is a big truth...
After the collapse of racism in the South,in 1965,there was a move to desegregation, which today,2010,almost erased the racial frontiers..

One more proof of diminishing of racism in the South, while the Northern ghettos keep their frontiers steady...
