Not completely accurate. The problem comes into play when people elect representatives who buy their votes and dont do what they should be elected to do, which is whats best for the nation..

There is a huge difference between what we used to have, which is a federal government which operates for the best of the nation, and what we have now, which is a federal government doing whats best for the individuals. Often times they are opposite of one another and doing one, destroys the other..

Thats not at all what was proposed. But are you now proposing that all money is the governments money, and what they allow you to keep is out of their generosity?

I am not a libertarian. I am not a republican, I am not a librarian either.

The key word you used was BUDGET.
It would help our country if our elected officials knew what that was

I am proposing what already IS , that taxes and representation are both Constitutional. It is not and never has been up to the individual citizen in USA if they pay taxes or not.

What already is, isnt how it was.. The Senate was setup to give balance to the states because states sent 2 members to the federal government, they were not elected by the citizens.

In addition, most of what the federal government does is NOT constitutional.. Remember that little clause giving all powers not in the Constitution to the STATES?

That was resolved back when Constitution was created.
Tea Party proposals are the problem, they are not based on math.

well apparantly the current group of representatives did not read that important footnote. The good news is that we have an election in 3 weeks that will send those greedy politicians to the back of the unemployment line.

AGAIN.. We do NOT have the same form of government now, that we did when the Constitution was created..

Initially the form of government allowed the states to send 2 members to the Senate. These individuals were delegated by the GOVERNMENT of the states, and sent to give balance to keep the federal governments size SMALL..

What we have now is representation by the citizens in the Senate, and the House, where previously the citizens only had the house.. This encourages the size of the government to get big..

Completely OPPOSITE of how we were established..

There is a reason the Constituion states that power rests AT THE STATE LEVEL.. unless its IN the Constitution..

Or more likely you want the government to grow so they can take care of you. Want to tell me exactly what proposal is the problem?

I ask because one minute you support the Constitution, and the next you support the current form of government and its growth.. You cant support both

My legitimate concern is that we will have the same voters voting for Tea Party candidates that voted for Bush, twice. If Tea Party "wins" that means the Republican Party "wins" again. As history has shown us, both recently and in the past, this does not mean America "wins".

On the contrary.. America wins when its ALLOWED to grow and prosper. Government LIMITS this growth by nature of design.. This reply coming from someone who first claims to support the Constitution, and then supports the growth of the government is very contradictory..
