Children stay in foster care because the state works on getting families reunited. Foster Care's end goal is not adoption---it is to get the kids back with their parents who have not relinquished their parental rights.

Jump to conclusions much?
DONT be ridiculous.
You know exactly where I am going with this, and you are sidestepping the subject just like a Tennessee Walker avoiding a rattlesnake.

There are many, many children in foster care available for adoption, and are not adopted, they age out of the system, and are pretty much abandoned.

Oh, nothing's going to help unwanted babies--but babies who grow up where the parent(s) don't have the income to care for it? Maybe they should have been aborted instead of being a drain on your system?

It is vital to any debate about this subject.
What does one do with all the children if abortion is banned?

You seem to be suggesting that we should abort them because we don't want to pay for them. As if money has anything to do with whether or not a baby should be allowed to live.

Money has everything to do with whether someone brings a new life into the world or not though. And as long as there is a way there is a choice. Once a baby is born it's a whole new ballgame.

Attempting to put words in my mouth, again?
Keep sidestepping the issue.
How many children are you fostering, or adopted?
One would think, as a pro-life advocate, you would be willing, ready and able to do all you can, besides having a plan in place IF Roe v Wade is overturned.
Guess not.

If welfare isn't the answer, what is?

Do you want children begging in the streets covered with flies?

Do you want the government to take children away from the unemployed and put them up for adoption...............put them all in orphanages?

I think in their perfect little world, there is no welfare, no abortion, no unwanted children, etc ad nauseum.....
Of course, those of us with our feet on the ground have the temerity to think differently.

Nice try. You can spin the pro-life contingents absolute disregard for unwanted living children any way you want. I listed the current numbers. Of the 423,000 children in the foster care system, there are 114,000 awaiting adoption. If pro-lifers value life soooo much, why are there any children on wait lists? You seriously have the audacity to state that adding 400,000 children per year will result in these children finding loving homes?

You have never answered this question, so here it is again. What exactly do you propose happens to 400,000 unplanned/unwanted children a year if abortion were illegal?
