Q
Q2: I read an articles that stated Palin refused to be prepped for that interview. She probably thought it would ruin her folksy appeal to actually have some answers ready to some potential questions. Either that, or she was just too lazy to prep.
She might need to broaden her audience base if she really wants to be POTUS. John McCain should be strung up for nominating her, considering what he unleashed.
Oh, you read an article. And that makes it fact. What would people say if Palin said, "I read an article..." and then proceed to blast someone based on that article.
You mean, if McCain hadn't nominated her he would have been elected and the country wouldn't now have to deal with what "he unleashed" upon us.
Ms. P. is dumb. Not curious, not interested in dimensions of issues. A modern day Annie Oakley without a brain. People here in the big land don't like her much. K? are we done?
Don't underestimate her. I don't think she's outright dumb. She certainly projects an image of being intellectually lazy, uninterested in things that do not directly affect her and unwilling to engage those with a different point of view. But she's been very adept at finding every gravy train conceivable and riding it as far as it will take her.
Good point. We do owe Sarah Palin a debt of gratitude for illustrating McCain's decision making capabilities.
Yes, and the election of Obama illustrates his supporters' poor judgment. They marched to the polls chanting "yes we can". Well, "we can" what, I have to ask. Where are they now?
Oh the congitive dissonance of people defending a woman that couldn't answer the most softball of questions from a relative cream puff of a journalist.

Some were fair-weather friends with unrealistic expectations, some - me among them, not that I can vote - had no idea that the country was in as poor of a shape as it turned out. The governing party always loses grounds during the mid-terms. I for one, am quite happy I supported Obama, and moderately happy with the results so far.
(Of course, there was just one candidate who stated the economy was "fundamentally sound" in september 2008, and it wasn't Obama.)
And I realize that I fell for your attempt at deflecting this into a thread about Obama and not Palin - good on you.

Yeah, Lisa Murkowski said Palin didn't have intellectual curiosty.
Heh... where was Murkowski's curiosity the day before she lost to Miller in the primary?

She saved her "curiosity" to defeat Miller in the general. You should refer to her as Senator Murkowski. Miller is still just Miller, a shady lawyer in Fairbanks, but now a Palinite teabagger, for all that's worth.

It is fun to watch though.
True.
It is fun to watch.
I sincerely hope beyond all hope that the GOP will nominate her for the 2012 presidential run.
