He is not only sick, but i believe selfish by having so many children, that he obviously cannot support on his own, who do you think is supporting these children.
These women, have no backbone, and no life, if they ever try and leave, it will not be easy for them, they have been brainwashed from the outside world, and i believe these or some of these women, have never had any self esteem.
I think he is a sicko, with problems, but so many of these guys i feel are pretensious, i do not see however how a life with 25 wives, and 121 children, can benefit anyone.
I also watched the show. They said they get food stamps, but also grow vegetables in order to supplement that amount. It showed four women working in the field harvesting vegetables, one was 7 months pregnant.
Yep, they scream about how terrible the government is then all sign up for welfare because none of them work and they all have kids from 15 until they drop.
Yes, because in today's world, without socialism, a man with a job can support maybe up to 6-8 kids but only if he has a good job, and if the wife also works, maybe a few more, but no one except the very richest can support over 25 kids.
Most working people today have no more than 4 kids partly because the costs of living are so high but also because having kids but giving them no parental time at all isn't what most people want to do.
The polygamists are the most government dependent types of all. They thrive on the food stamps, Medicaid and all the rest.
This is why in exchange for welfare handouts, people should agree to be surgically sterilized. Not forced - they should always have the option of opting out welfare programs but then would have to support their children themselves.

And yes they are pedophiles who love to rape a 12 or 13 year old girl.
Not many women their same age will want to marry these men because not many women their same age would want to stay knocked up and having a baby every year while working in some field to grow her own food to feed her kids.
This lifestyle includes female child abuse for this reason, once they impregnate a 13 year old girl and keep her that way, she has few options.
And of course it abuses the young males who have no single girls their own age to marry, as the fathers sell and trade their daughters with their buddies.
My great-grandmother was born in 1848; she married in 1862, ten days after her fourteenth birthday. Her husband was thirty-three. She bore nine children, five of whom survived the plethora of childhood diseases rampant at the time. My grandmother was her ninth child. No one ever considered my great-grandfather a pedophile, and from what I heard, they had a very happy family. But times change. My mother married at thirty-four, bearing her first and only child at the age of forty. Polygamy (i'll use the correct and specific term) was not a part of the life of my family. But what if it had been? People have the right to determine their own family practices as long as they don't ask someone else, the taxpayer, to support them.

First of all, everyone has to pay for educating those kids. Modern American education costs a fortune: in our town, about $14,000 per kid per year just in operating costs, not counting the astronomical costs of building schools.
Next, the cost of children is subsidized by all of us in a million different ways, such as in health insurance premiums. The family with 3 kids almost always pays the same premium as the family with 18 kids, and the 18 kids cost a lot more. Other insurance buyers must subsidize the large families.
Overpopulation hurts every single one of us. Too many people in the labor pool means wages, benefits and work conditions decrease, while working hours for full time employees increase to hellish levels (or conversely everyone is part time and can't get enough hours in to survive). More people compete for resources like land, houses, loans, and merchandise, sending prices through the roof. We now know through hard experience that a constantly increasing population does NOT mean increasing prosperity.
Finally, society does have an interest in discouraging extremely dysfunctional lifestyles. Nobody wants their daughter to be sucked into a self esteem-destroying cult, or to know that children are growing up in a situation that allows for sexual or other abuse.
That being said, government must allow adults freedom to choose any lifestyle that does not break the law (although outside family members might want to try cult deprogramming).
OMG if he is in fact feeding & supporting these children via welfare, I sure would like to see just the amount of food stamps they get a month........
If he is supporting everyone with the wefare program he needs to go to jail.

Since legally you can only have one wife the other 24 wives declare they are single mothers, that they don't know who the dad is, even though they have 12 kids each... All that just so they can milk the system for ever more welfare. Also I'd like people to remember that the FLDS, sick and disgusting as it is, is actually practicing the original Mormon faith exactly as it's founders practiced it.
