lakin was released from leavenworth yesterday. while his appeals are pending he's still under the authority of the UCMJ so it's unlikely that he will be giving any interviews in the near future. then again...... never know with birthers.

lakin never said anything about his views on the case or the situation. they even make note of the fact that terry is still going thru appeals and can't discuss anything towards the end of the interview. he basically just gave a run-down on what life is like inside leavenworth.
The sweetest bit of irony - and bear with me here - would be if the birthers were right. Because it would mean that one of the greatest countries in the world didn't have the brains to fact check a man from the time he entered politics, until the time he's in control of our nuclear weapons. That's ludicrous. I could never trust that country again. It's a country full of morons. At least on the political side.
You can see that the two that came before Obama's contain the required legal language while his does not.
Hawaii Revised Statute 11-113 (c) specifically requires that this sworn application from each state party authority contains explicit language stating that all candidates are legally qualified to serve under the provisions of the United States Constitution in order for the Chief Elections Officer to approve the candidate for placement on the state’s presidential ballot.
Strange that they did not fulfill the requirements.
Seeing things like this are what caused me to take a closer look recently.

obviously a line of text is omitted but it would seem more likely the result of clerical error than something nefarious. what would be the purpose of needing it removed from hawaii's nomination request but not arizona's ?

Hawaii (Party of te Candidate to be precise) is responsible, by Law, to verify his eligibility.
In other States it is a matter of recording the verification that the Hawaii Democratic Party was supposed to have done which the document show that they legally have not.
An error, on a serious and short legal document?
I doubt it especially considering that the specific language required is a substantial percentage of the short document itself.
It does also have to say the same thing "year after year", it is a specific written Law that requires that specific language.
