Senate Democrats on Tuesday unveiled a broad agenda for an end-of-session sprint that, in other years, could be a whole year's worth of activity — ranging from an arms-reduction treaty with Russia to a major immigration bill to overturning the ban on gay troops.
And that's not to mention the nearly 2,000-page, $1.1 trillion massive spending bill Senate Democrats said they'll try to push through. The bill contains hundreds of pork-barrel spending projects and new rules governing everything from airport baggage to detainees at the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Nearly 2000 pages long. Looks like we'll have to pass it first to see what's in it.
Maybe Michelle will come out and tell/sell us it's for the kids because some retired military folk said we need to.
How stupid do you have to be to support this type of governance?

No time to debate and to read the 2000 pages of PORK... how typical of the DIMOCRATS.... load it up so it will fail and then cry its the REPUBS fault your paying higher taxes come Jan 1st.

Wow! The difference between the House and Senate bills is....a paltry $16 Billion.
You do know, don't you, that the alternative to passing this bill is shutting down the government?
And, are you as outraged over the additional $900 BILLION added to the deficit because of the tax cut and unemployment deal the "fiscally conservative" GOP forced on Obama?

The GOP forced Obama, LOL, that's a laugh. The House holds the purse strings and they have rejected the Clinton/Obama tax compromise.
The fiscal Conservatives (Tea Party) is against the tax compromise as indicative of DeMint and Bauchmann's votes. I'm outraged that this Congress and this administration refused to cut back the spending. I'm outraged that the UE benefits the Dems wanted increased by nearly $240 Billion in this compromise from what they had earlier requested. And no, I do not support the House bill either. So, when you personally earn $16 Billion and donate it to the government to pay off the deficite specifically I'll consider it "pawltry"; until that time, .
Do you liberals really have a mental disconnect in the relationship between spending and the growth of the deficit? I ask because y'all never mention the two together when you feign outrage over the deficit.
