Perhaps Harry hasn't read the Constitution as to where his bill should have originated, that is, under the rule of law.

Article 1, Sec. 7.

Reid is a sanctimonious (insert explicative here)!
They are lazy! It doesn't matter whether there's an 'R' or a 'D' behind their name. They ARE lazy, overpaid, do-nothing, accomplish-little, whiners, crybabies. These prostitutes for corporations earn a decent salary and decent benefits for the amount of hours they put in, and the few, watered down BS laws they pass.

They are lazy!

I suggest people not be blinded to the point of unbiased opines. Work for it baby, we pay you, so snap to it you no-count lazy, over-paid loud mouth, grand-standing politicians. You're on our dime. Stay at work.

The vote came up in the house at the beginning of the month for extending the tax breaks for everyone making under 250k a year which was shot down by the right. The democrats came back with one of the biggest arm reaches I've ever seen, with a everyone making one million and under compromise that was shot down to the surprise of people on both sides of the isle and against what most americans wanted, feeling the one million compromise was very fair. Since then the democrats have been trying to work out some kind of compromise with the right but are offered little leading to the continuing bickering that should have been done weeks ago.

900 billion of that is the spending the right are proposing. The right compromise to giving a little more to the left, but then want more for themselves, so on and so on, taking spending up with it. What Reid has been doing with the senate are simply "test" votes to make sure the plan they are going to bring to the house floor will actually pass in the senate, instead of wasting people's time on a bill that would just get shot down again.

Apparently there is a pattern of the GOP whining.

I work until Christmas and I don't get near the vacation time congress gets on our tax $$$!
It's worse than that!
Congress only works three days a week. Monday and Friday are travel days to and from their states. Even then they still don't get into the chambers for the first vote of the week until Tuesday evening.

The budget for next year should have bene pased in JUNE/JULY, not December, 2 weeks before the end of the year.. And I'm not even going to get into the ridiculousness of the left again, discussing how tax cuts are good, but only for a segement of the population. Either they are good, or they are bad.. You cant have both..

What a bunch of lazy, crybaby, do-nothing, time-wasting, load of blood suckers. Keep your fat azz in D.C. until the job is complete. They earn six figures, but complain if they have to stay and work.
Reid is absolutely right no matter what his reason is.

These elected officials owe this country a LOT.

They need to quit using "the hoildays" as an excuse to hold things up....

They are ADULTS! (?)

They should NOT NEED to have their "Holiday"

MANY other Americans work during the Holidays and they should, too.

Even if Boehner( Boo-Hoo Boner) cries and blubbers 'cause he won't get to see Santa....

They work if they're lucky enough to be employeed. I'm past tired of politicians who do more whining and grandstanding than they do work. Scumbags, most of them.

For people who claim to represent the "producers" it appears the Republicans in congress are little more then lazy dullards.
