I don't think getting additional holiday time is their ultimate goal here. You do get that, don't you?

Apparently there is a pattern of the GOP whining.

I work until Christmas and I don't get near the vacation time congress gets on our tax $$$!
If you'll recall, Harry shut it down THIS year, 2010, for his vacation, not last Christmas. Last Christmas they were busy ramming through Obamacare and the useless abortion funding language that actually did nothing to stop the public funding of abortions.

Answer my questions please. Why is Harry Reid waiting until the last 2 weeks of the year to address the passing of a budget. And, why does it need to be done in a $1.1 Trillion Omnibus spending bill, that by the Constitution, is required to originate in the US House of Representatives?

Demint and Kyl were trying to stall legislation that they knew not only had enough votes to pass, but had enough votes that any filibuster attempt would fail. So Reid simply said the more stall attempts you make, the longer you will be here.

A budget that was suppose to be done in October.

Another FAIL.

So Harry only works when he can get more money to spend then right?

I am still waiting on you to prove that Speaker Boehner is an alcoholic in another thread but of course you wont provide any proof of your accusations.

My accusations are for real.

Look at the debt the democrats have piled up on us and look at the stimulus pork barrel spending by the dems in the last 2 years.

YOUR dem controlled Senate is only stating to stick 6000 pork projects on us taxpayers.

They are NOT staying to do anything for the American people they are staying to screw us over with pork to their friends.

Perhaps, but the GOP needs to be honest about their motivations and intentions then. Otherwise, it appears they want to vacation when there is unfinished work.

They don't have an answer for you.

They really believe good ole Harry is staying to help his fellow nutcases out.

Porky Harry is out to screw us over and put us in more debt, end of story.

Hell let the dems go ahead on their own.

Afterall, they have passed bills before without the GOP even in the discussions when the demwits locked them out.

Porky Pig is trying to spend money we dont have. Typical liberal.

There we have it folks. The GOP is pouting and wants to go home because they don't like our American system of government set up by our forefathers. They want their own way otherwise they are taking their toys and going home!
